RHBO-80 Brix refractometer combines two separate Brix ranges in one instrument and covers a total measuring range of 0-80%. Range 1 covers 0-50% and Range 2 covers 50-80%, allowing this instrument to be used on many products and processes. Unit has an accuracy and readability down to 1%. A versitle, two scale refractometer designed to measure solutions falling within a range of 0-80%, and is calibrated to 1%. Ideal to measure concentration in many kinds of liquids related sugar, such as fruit juice, canned foods, condensed milk, liquid sugar and jam and other applications requiring concentration measurements over a wide measuring range up to 80° Brix (%weight sucrose). With range selection that can transfer from scale 1 to scale 2 and vice versa being made by a simple rotary control on RHBO-80 barrel, its measurement range was enlarged. It uses ambient light only and no batteries are needed. Made by experienced craftsmen and are unlikely to break down! Included are: a pipette for dropping test fluids onto the prism (never dip the refractometer into the test fluid!), a mini screwdriver for scale calibration, a Users Guide, plus 10 more Extra Pipettes (1 pack)!
